Dive Deep Blue by ABC Diving has proudly supported HM Forces in Malta for over 25 years, delivering MOD-accredited diving support, BSAC training and Adventure Training (AT) programmes.
As an approved ComMAC and BSAC Centre of Excellence, we provide professional diving support under Joint Service regulations, helping expedition organisers deliver safe, effective and rewarding diving programmes in Malta and Gozo.
Whether you require a fully managed ComMAC-led expedition or support for a SADS-led expedition, our experienced team provides the expertise, facilities and logistical support to meet your requirements.
Our dedicated dive centre has been designed to support both recreational divers and military expeditions. With secure equipment storage, on-site swimming pool, high-capacity cylinder filling and purpose-built classroom, we provide everything required for efficient expedition support from a single location.
Our full-time instructional team has extensive experience delivering BSAC and PADI programmes for Armed Forces personnel. From entry-level diver training to complex expedition support, we provide professional instruction, local knowledge and the flexibility to adapt to your unit’s objectives.
With more than 100 military expeditions hosted in Malta, we’ve earned a reputation for delivering safe, reliable and well-organised diving programmes. Our experience allows units to focus on training and adventure training objectives while we take care of the logistics, facilities and local support.
If your unit requires Dive Deep Blue by ABC Diving to deliver BSAC Ocean Diver or BSAC Sports Diver training, our experienced instructional team will professionally manage and host your diving programme from start to finish. From pre-course administration and equipment preparation through to in-water training, assessment and certification, every aspect of the expedition is carefully coordinated to ensure your training objectives are achieved safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
This option includes all required diving equipment, cylinders, air fills and transportation to and from the dive sites, allowing your unit to focus entirely on training while we take care of the logistics.
To maintain the required instructor-to-student ratios and comply with BSAC training standards, courses are delivered in groups of four trainees, with a minimum booking of eight Service personnel.
For units conducting Adventure Training under SADS with their own supervisory team, Dive Deep Blue by ABC Diving provides the facilities, equipment and local expertise needed to deliver a safe, efficient and successful expedition.
Our flexible support package allows your SADS team to retain responsibility for planning and supervising the diving programme, while benefiting from our purpose-built dive centre, MOD-approved facilities and extensive local knowledge.
Our standard support package includes daily cylinder hire, weights, equipment wash-down and secure storage, local dive site advice and recommendations, expedition planning assistance, and full access to our purpose-built facilities throughout your stay.
We work closely with your supervisory team to help maximise diving opportunities by selecting suitable dive sites based on the prevailing weather and sea conditions while providing the logistical support needed to ensure your expedition runs smoothly.
Additional support services are also available, including airport transfers, full equipment hire, use of our dedicated classroom facilities for briefings and theory sessions, and access to our on-site training pool for equipment familiarisation, skills practice or refresher training before open water divi
Whether you’re in the early stages of planning an expedition or simply want to discuss what’s possible, we’d be delighted to help. Every military expedition is different, so we’re always happy to answer questions, provide advice, or talk through the best options for your unit.
